Compact Industrial Desander Delivering Reliable Sand Removal for Multi‑Raw‑Material Starch Plants
This cassava starch production line desander is a special tuber starch slurry desanding purifier, used for starch milk sand impurity separation and purification. The equipment can adapt to various tuber starch processing production lines such as cassava, potato and sweet potato to meet multi-raw material processing needs.
Relying on the synergistic effect of centrifugal force and gravity, this equipment achieves efficient separation of sand impurities from starch milk inside starch slurry. The material slurry is fed in a tangential and eccentric manner, generating a high-speed rotating vortex inside the cylinder. High-density sand impurities are thus thrown toward the outer cylinder wall.
Subsequently, these impurities sink down along the cone wall into the slag hopper, thoroughly separating from starch milk without secondary mixing back into the slurry. Purified starch milk rises upward along the central axis, forms overflow flow and is discharged out of the equipment for subsequent processing procedures.
